Guyanese pugilist Elton “The Bully” Dharry starred in New York this past Friday, as he racked up a win against Texan Oscar Mojica in the Main Event at Club Amazura in Jamaica, Queens.

The event, spearheaded by Ronson Frank’s Uprising Promotions in association with the New Mexican Promotions, saw numerous top fights being billed for the card, which saw a return to the state after a hiatus.
In the Main Event of the card, bantamweight champ Dharry (23-5-1, 14) punched his way to a win by unanimous decision after 10 gruelling rounds against the Texan Mojica (11-5, 1 KO), who proved to be a worthy fighter in his own right.
