The Guyana Oil Company, Guyoil is the latest sponsor of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sport’s Club International Race of Champions.
The local fuel giants on Wednesday handed over sponsorship through Marketing Manager Eric Whaul to GMR&SC’s Surica Singh at their Camp street office.
In handing over the sponsorship, Whaul contended that the company is a long time sponsor of sport and this is their way of fulfilling their corporate social responsibility.
He contended that a lot of their products are also geared toward a large base of the racing family hence the company being on board.
The twenty-seven race programme is billed for November 11 and 12 at the South Dakota Circuit Timehri with exciting and thrilling action set for both days.
The event will see competition from Trinidad, Barbados, Jamaica, the United States and Canada.
