Top local cricketers will be engaged this Sunday as the Guyana Students Association (GUYSA) of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, hosts King of the Wicket, at the Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) Ground.
It will be a seven-A-side six- overs cricket tournament with teams coming from all parts of the country to showcase their power hitting ability in a very short format of leather ball cricket.
Food and Drinks will be on sale at the venue and there will also be an admission cost of $500 attached to the event.

The Guyanese Students Association (GUYSA) is a non-profit organization established on 1st January, 2016. GUYSA is the official student representative body for all Guyanese students within the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies (UWI). Its aim is to assist in the welfare of Guyanese students, promote Guyanese cultural ethnicity, create opportunities to develop the skills of members and contribute to the community.The first ball bowls off at 9:00h.
