“The course last five days, each day has a program of 8 hours. On the last day they will have written exams and practical exams. We have all the technical and conditional preparation for beginners. “ said Kroeger, who has over 30 years as an instructor.
This course is a continuation of an online program that the participants began a few months ago. This activity is part of the GVF ongoing development of volleyball all across Guyana.
“This is a course that will give the participants enough technical knowledge to do some coaching when they go back to wherever they are from, when they go back and develop volleyball,“ stated GVF president, John Flores.
“Basically we wanted to spread the games in schools, so it’s mostly aimed at the schools. Every year we host a course and this year we decided that a coaching course for teachers would be the best.” He further added.
