Harmon again exhibiting his political inexperience

Dear Editor,
Mr Joseph Harmon has been calling for Local Government Elections (LGE) to be conducted by the present top officers of GECOM, who are before the Courts on serious criminal charges relating to electoral fraud.
Mr Harmon evidences a level of naivety which could only be explained by his political inexperience, since no experienced politician would ever make such an outlandish proposal when the world would not stand by and allow such a tainted group to again rig elections in favour of himself and friends.
And by advocating for the use of such tainted officers, Mr Harmon shows himself to be a person who has no belief in democracy; he has no respect for it, and is committed to undermining it.
Secondly, Mr Harmon says the Constitution prescribes LGE every two years after the last LGE. Quite true. But Harmon and his political party had quite illegally occupied one of those two years, thus making LGE only possible in 2022 or 2023.

Yours sincerely,
Paul Validum
