The thriller was worth the watch as both teams were restricted to low totals at the ground. Exceptional performances from Sagar Hathiramani, who picked up five wickets, and Neland Cadogan, who excelled with both bat and ball, were just enough to take their side over the line.

Sagar Hathiramani bagged 5-6 in his three overs

Mahdia won the toss and batted first; they were restricted to 128-6 in their allotted 20 overs. The Belle Vue bowlers, who were coming off a few successive wins, showed much fight. They bowled with discipline and did not ease up on applying the pressure when it mattered. However, holding the fort down for his side was Rajkumar Singh with 28 not out (1×4, 2×6). Singh read the situation of the game and realised that he had to stay to the end for his team to post a defendable total. Also chipping in were Andrew Gibson with 24 (1×4, 2×6) and Cadogan with 20 (2×6). In the Belle Vue bowling line-up, Safraz Baksh finished with two wickets, while Krishna Singh, Lucian Sam, and Kelvin Singh all had one wicket apiece.
Belle Vue in reply were bowled out for 66; top-scoring was Colin Boucher with 22 (1×4, 2×6); Sam supported with 9 not out as did Dev Seepersaud with 8. In bowling, Mahdia brought the heat, they flexed their muscles and showed why they were one of the top sides. Hathiramani was the epitome of absolute perfection as he wreaked havoc with the ball, bagging five wickets for six runs while Cadogan added the finishing touch to the game, picking up three wickets.
Belle Vue congratulated Mahdia Movements Family for their victory and were optimistic of a rematch very soon.
