Heated dispute turns deadly in Linden

Twenty-six-year-old Keron McDonald, a miner of Block 22, Wismar, Linden, was on Wednesday shot dead during an altercation.
Police stated that on the day in question about 10:00h, McDonald and the 29-year-old suspect from Half Mile, Wismar, Linden, were involved in an argument, which later escalated into an altercation at Prasville, Wismar,.
During the incident, the suspect allegedly retrieved a firearm from a motor car and discharged one round in McDonald’s direction, striking him in the left side of his chest.
An injured McDonald was subsequently pronounced dead after being rushed to the Linden Hospital Complex. The suspect was arrested but not before disposing of the firearm.
He remains in custody pending investigations.
