Henry, Macey lead Eagles to 10-1 thumping of Vegae Boys

Orlanzo Henry and Chris Macey both netted helmet-tricks to lead FC Eagles to a comprehensive 10-1 over Vegae Boys over the weekend in the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) Stag Beer League.
Playing at the Den Amstel ground, Henry netted in the 4th, 59th and 68th while Macey made his conversions in the 21st, 55th and 71st. Orlanzo’s namesake Collin Henry secured a double by easing his way to goals in the 25th and 29th and Daniel Clarke in the 30th, Stephon Griffith 50th were the other two scorers; Shamar Marcus in the 73rd scored for Vegae Boys.

In the other matches, Quessey Alleyne goal in the 8th minute led Pouderoyen to a 1-0 conquest over Golden Warriors.
Similarly, Young Achievers beat Stewartville 3-0 on the bank of double by Lloyd Prince and Eon King; Prince netted in the 15th and 85th while King scored in the 54th.
On Saturday, the matches will continue with Jetty Gunners facing Wales then Uitvlugt locking horns with Beavers FC.
The following day, Stewartville come against Vegae Boys which then will pit Den Amstel against FC Eagles.
