Home of Tuschen pensioner burglarised

A 70-year-old pensioner is traumatised after his Tuschen North, East Bank Essequibo (EBE) home was burglarised on Saturday.
Reports are he was robbed of a gold ring, a black Samsung J7 cell phone and $30,000 cash.
Police stated that the victim secured his home by the means provided, leaving everything intact and went to work. Upon his return, he saw his eastern wall prized open and his room ransacked.
He made checks and observed that the abovementioned items were missing.
The matter was subsequently reported to the Police and an investigation was launched.
Only recently, the motionless body of 59-year-old Keith Richard Hohenkirk called “One Foot”, a businessman, was found in his bedroom at Tuschen.
The man, who was an amputee, lived alone and operated a small grocery business at his home. He was last seen alive sitting on his verandah by his neighbour, but hours after, he was found dead, lying on his back with his hands bound with transparent scotch tape. His mouth was also gaged with a piece of brown cloth.
