“Hope is Rising” for June 3 at Jubilee Park

An anti-suicide, anti-violence and job creating rally titled “Hope is Rising” is billed for D’Urban Park for Saturday, June 3.
This unique event will see lectures from prominent members of the Christian community on the importance of life and more so, how persons can walk away from a violent relationship. In addition, there will be persons on hand to answer questions about job creating and other issues affecting young people.
The event will also be used as a worshipping session, with performances by several high-level gospel singers from the Guyana, the Caribbean and the United States.
Those slated to perform are Joel Brown, Psychologist, Wil Campbell, Samuel Medas, E-Praise, MK out of the USA, New Life Assembly of God Drama Team, Anil Azeez, Rachael Connelly, Pastor Joseph Persaud, Eion Greaves, Cheryl Melony, Mariam Williams, Kester Dean and Emrand Henry out of St Lucia.
Apart from the lectures and performances, there will be lots of games for the kids, well stocked drink and food bars and other attractions.
The event gets underway at 18:00h and admission is absolutely free. The event is promoted by Kester D and will be hosted by Pastor Joseph Persaud.
