The East Berbice village of Alness will come alive on Sunday July 10 as the Ryan Crawford memorial turf club will host a grand one day horse race meet. The event is scheduled to start at 13:00 hrs and promises to be an exciting affair for the entire family.
Five races are carded for the day with the feature race fetching a 0,000 first prize for horses classified in the “H” Class. Some of the top horses in action will be Bridle-stone Corner, Mansoon, Anfield, She’s So Special, Bird Man, Amazing Run, Silver Bell, Super Bowl and Glamour Queen from Georgetown.
