Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) President Aleem Hussain maintained his firm grip on the competition while club Secretary Rabindranath Persaud finished third as the quest for the club title continues.

Hussain finished with 65/13 while 2nd place went to veteran golfer and winner of the Sanjay’s tournament in February, Maurice Solomon with scores 70/23. Nearest to The Pin (5 feet) went to Rabindranath ‘Pandit Ravi’ Persaud with Hussain winning Best Gross (78) and Best Net going to 3rd place Ravi’ with Persaud 72/18.
Hussain in his remarks said, “The Executive has promised to champion the Club Tournaments, and so far we are doing fairly well”. Meanwhile, other golfers who placed in the top ten (10) Net performances were: Brian Hackett 73/16; Shanella Webster 74/16; Patrick Prashad 75/9; Haresh Tiwari 75/18; Hilbert Shields 77/16; Robert Hanoman 77/25; Mike Mangal 78/8 and Dr. Philbert London 79/18.
