Home Sports IBF U-18 three-on-3 set to bounce off from October 19
Guyana will be hosting the International Basketball Federation’s (IBF’s) Antilles 3-on-3 Finals for U-18 Men and Women, bouncing off from October 19-21 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH).
Players from across 8 countries have announced their participation in the tournament, and more than 70 athletes along with officials will be attending.
Countries listed to participate in the Men’s category of this competition include Aruba, Barbados, Dominica, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique and St Lucia.
Teams set to play in the ladies’ category include Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique and St Lucia.
The Guyana U-18 three-on-3 Male team will comprise Akeem Crandon, Andrew Johnson, Nigel Bowen and Shamar France, with the Coordinator being Mark Agard. The Female team will comprise Annalisa Barclay, Saffiya Greene, Lydia Roberts and Roschelle Campbell, with Troy Greene as Coordinator.
The visiting teams will arrive in Guyana on October 18th and depart on October 22nd.
The IBF Antilles 3×3 Finals for U-18 Men’s and Women’s teams are primarily funded by the IBF and managed by the national federation of the host country.
