Illegal firearm, ammunition found in garbage bin

Ranks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) have unearthed an illegal firearm along with two live matching rounds of ammunition hidden in a garbage bin outside a residence at Kaneville, Grove, East Bank Demerara (EBD) on Saturday.
Based on information received, Police went to the location and conducted a search during which a .38 revolver and two live matching rounds were discovered.
No one has been arrested as Police continue their investigations.
