A 36-year-old man of B Field Sophia, Greater Georgetown was on Wednesday arrested after he was found with an improvised gun and .32 ammunition.

The Police have said that on the day in question, at about 10:00h, a team of Police ranks acting on information received went to B Field Sophia, where a search was conducted on the premises of the suspect.
During that search, ranks discovered the firearm and one .32 round of ammunition in a chair in the suspect’s yard. The man was arrested and taken into custody at the Alberttown Police Station, where the firearm was lodged as investigations continue.
