The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA)/ Guyana Diabetics Association/ PAHO Under-17 final was postponed after heavy rainfall in the city on Sunday morning affected the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Ground, Bourda from hosting the match.
Key parts of the playing area got wet and were subsequently deemed unsuitable to allow play for the teenagers, who will have to wait until there is better weather for play.
Chairman of the Competition Committee of GCA, Shaun Massiah said the two teams, reigning champions Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) and Transport Sports Club (TSC) will be updated during the course of the week.
