It will be a night of anointing this evening at D’Urban Park for one of the largest gospel concerts, titled “Independence Gospel Explosion and Fair”. The show is expected to feature some of the best in the gospel business including Anil Azeez, Cherlyn Maloney, Mariam Williams, Shawn English, Princess Vanessa and Kester Deane among others.
The show is organised by the Kester Deane Promotion in collaboration with Dunamis Inc and the Government of Guyana. The concert will also feature several Government Ministries, NGOs, religious bodies and members of the business community, as they use the art form to tackle social ills that are plaguing the society.
There will be lots of skits, dances and lots of live performances. Booths and fun for the children start at 13:00h, while the cultural presentation starts at 17:00h. Entrance to the event is absolutely free.
