India’s national 110m record holder confirmed for AP Invitational
India’s national record-holder in the 110m hurdles, Siddhanth Thingalaya, has been confirmed as participating in the Aliann Pompey Invitational meet set for July 6 at the National Track and Field Centre at Leonora, WCD.
Hailing from Mumbai, Thingalaya, who set India’s national record in the 110m hurdles at 13.48s in 2017, has twice represented his country at the Commonwealth Games: in 2010 and in 2014, and has participated once at the World Championships: in 2017.
The 28-year-old is also an Asian junior silver medallist (2010) in the 110m hurdles event, and has also competed at the World Junior Championships.
As founder of the AP Invitational, Aliann Pompey is extremely happy to have Thingalaya compete at the event, as his presence would only add quality to the championships.
