Indonesians, security guard robbed in Barama Compound

Two Indonesians and two security guards are now counting their losses after they were on Saturday night attacked and robbed of their valuables in the Barama Compound, Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
According to reports, the robbery occurred around 23:45h when five armed men pounced on the security guard of the company and invaded the yard.
Guyana Times understands that the men attacked the guard and relieved him of his shotgun along with five cartridges.
The perpetrators then took possession of the man’s cellphone, duct-taped his mouth and bound his hands and feet.
They then proceeded to the living quarters of the Indonesians, who are reportedly the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Supervisor of the company, forced their way in via the doors and relieved them, along with a female who is the fiancée of the CEO, of their valuables before escaping.
Investigators have since processed the scene, obtained statements and are making stringent efforts to apprehend the suspects.
