Dear Editor,
Put a fast-moving machine which can become a killing machine in the hands of a young, inexperienced and reckless person, and the consequences are bound to be deadly. Innocent lives have been lost senselessly, persons have been injured, and property has been damaged — all the makings of a heinous crime.
The other driver in the horrific accident on the West Side must be brought to face the law too, for being complicit in turning a public roadway into a deadly race track.
My condolences are extended to the grieving families of the deceased; and my wish for those injured, affected and traumatised is that they are able to recover and overcome this dreadful incident fully and in the shortest possible time.
