The Muslim Youth Organization (MYO) of Guyana Inter-Jamaat 10/10 softball cricket competition in Memory of the late Br. Amanat Baksh of Queenstown Jama Masjid is schedule to start this Sunday November 12 at the MYO ground, Woolford Avenue, Thomas Lands, Georgetown.

At the draw, the 10 teams that have registered were divided into two groups. The competition will be on a round robin basis within the groups where only round-hand bowling will be allowed.
Zone A comprises Grove, Queenstown, Farm, Enmore and Land of Canaan while Zone B has Wakenaam, Adventure, MYO, Diamond/Grove and New Amsterdam Jamaats.
Meanwhile, five games have been fixed for Sunday November 12 with Adventure Jamaat taking on Diamond/ Grove from 09:00h. At 10:30h, New Amsterdam will take on the hosts, MYO followed by Adventure and New Amsterdam at 12:00 noon. The final two game will see Diamond/Grove taking on Enmore at 13:30h before Queenstown and Land of Canaan bring the curtains down with their clash at 15:00h.
Teams are vying for a number of trophies and cash with the finals set for Sunday December 3, with a BBQ and Food Sale. Tickets cost $1,000.
Before the first match on Sunday, there will be a small opening ceremony in which brief remarks will be done by the MYO and the children of the late Amanat Baksh.
