Inter-ward Schools tape ball tournament bowls of Saturday

With the motto: To develop the game and promote it in an organised manner for youths, the Royal Tape ball cricket academy has partnered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sports Promotion to host an Inter Ward Schools tournament.
The tournament is a Boys’ Super 6 and will be played on an 11 a-side knock out basis at the National Cultural Centre Tarmac from September 16 to 23.
Teams will be drawn from wards such as South Ruimveldt, East Ruimveldt, Tucville, Lodge, East La Penitence, Charlestown, Cummingsburg, Kingston, Woolford Avenue, Thomas Lands, Werk-en-Rust, Campbellville, Cummings Lodge and Plaisance.
Several trophies, medals and cash prizes donated by P.K.F Barcellos Narine & Co, Goodwood Racing Service and P&P Insurance Brookers.
