International Cavaliers clinch title in 8-wicket win

Minnesota Cricket T20 Blast Final…

The International Cavaliers downed the Continental Cricket Club by eight wickets in the final of the Minnesota Cricket T20 Blast last week.

Batting first, Continental CC were restricted to 96-6 in 20 overs. Dhruv Duggal top-scored with 29 from 23 balls, which included four boundaries. Only Gurdish Kullar (12) and Krishna Sastry Amaravadhi (13) reached double figures.
Bhim George was the pick of the Cavaliers bowlers with 3-10, while Bheem Singh, Nauman Zahid and Zahid Raffique each took one wicket. In reply, Raffique, opening the batting, scored an even half-century from 44 balls, decorated with four boundaries and two sixes, to lead his team to a comfortable eight-wicket win.
Kamesh Yadram scored an unbeaten 34 from 37 balls, with two fours and a similar number of sixes. Devanash Garag was the lone bowler with 2-16 as the Cavaliers ended on 97-2 in 15.4 overs.
