The Indian Commemoration Trust (ICT) will be holding its annual International Food Festival and Drinks Tasting on Saturday at the Indian Monument Gardens, Camp and Church Streets, Georgetown.
The garden experience of cuisines from around the globe includes dances, music and videos highlighting performing arts from the different cultures being showcased.
The Festival is expected to showcase cuisine from Mexican, Indian, Chilean, Chinese, Brazilian, Surinamese, South African, Trinidadian and Guyanese among several others.
The event is entitled “Swadish” and will commence at 17:00h.
A chit system is in place where a ticket is purchased for $1500 and the ticket holder receives $500 in chits. Food purchases are made with chits that can be purchased at the gate.
