The Bartica Islamic Association donated a wheelchair to the Bartica Speedboat Association (BSA) over the holidays.
President of the BSA, Stephen Belle, expressed delight and gratitude for the charitable donation.
“We feel good. We feel it’s a kind and very good gesture and we would like to thank the Muslim church for the donation. It will help the Bartica community,” Belle expressed.
According to the BSA President, the wheelchair will help to facilitate the easy and convenient movement of elderly as well as sick passengers on and off speedboats at the Bartica Stelling.
