This race was held in the inner-circuit of the National Park in Georgetown on Monday, October 24th, 2022, and John led the pack for most of the way, and rallied through the unfortunate tumble that several of his colleagues took on the asphalt circuit to take gold.
Seasoned campaigners Kemuel Moses and Marlon Williams crossed the line in respective second and third in the Open category; while
Briton John, Andre Greene, Christopher Griffith, Paul De Nobrega and Curtis Dey were among those riders who suffered a fall.
