Ahead of the Carib Beer T20 finals, Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Captain Leon Johnson said he fancies his chances of regaining their title on home turf today when they face nemesis; defending champs Demerara Cricket Club (DCC).
With the finals back at the GCC Bourda Ground after two years, Johnson, the Guyana Jaguars and West Indies batsman said that he was relishing the home field advantage against a good Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) unit.

The former West Indies U19 skipper added he wants to end his decade-long stint as skipper with the title in his possession and believed that there was no better place to get the job done than at home.
Meanwhile, captain of the reigning Queenstown-based DCC club; national all-rounder Chris Barnwell believes that the encounter will be an exciting one and is backing his side to deliver the goods come Saturday.
Barnwell, who made his way back into the national limited overs unit, will also have a strong team behind him. The hard-hitting batsman said that while he was weary of the GCC team, he was nevertheless confident that his players and himself will come out and successfully defend their title Saturday afternoon.
Among the players in the champions camp are Trevon Griffith, Sherfane Rutherford, Tevin Imlach, Joshua Persaud, Ashmead Nedd, Raymond Perez, Sachin Singh and Barnwell.
