Judiciary hosts Career Day in Region 9

The Judiciary of Guyana held a “Career Day” for the first time at the Lethem Magistrate’s Court earlier this month.  In a post on the Supreme Court of Judicature – Guyana social media page, it was stated that the initiative was the idea of the Chancellor of the Judiciary (ag.), Justice Yonette Cummings-Edwards, OR, CCH, to educate youths and make them aware of employment opportunities. Magistrates Dylon Bess and Omadatt Chandan; Deputy Mayor Indira Singh, Regional Chairman Brian Allicock, Assistant Superintendent of Police Seon Leitch, other Government officials, students, and teachers from the Lethem community attended the “Career Day”.
