Guinness Cage “East Coast Best vs the Rest” Competition…

In another expression of confidence for the work being done by Three Peat Promotions, Julius Variety Store became the latest entity to endorse the organisation’s Guinness Cage Competition following its confirmation of support on Tuesday, at its Regent Street location.

Staff member Leslie Mentis handed over a cheque for an undisclosed sum to Three Peat Promotions’ Rawle Welch in the presence of staffers.
Welch, in response to the kind gesture, thanked the entity for answering the call for support, while promising to conduct the tournament with a high degree of discipline and most of all, pulling out all the stops to meet the stated objective, which is to foster integration among the participating communities and create a better understanding among its inhabitants.
The competition kicked off on Wednesday at the Haslington Market Tarmac where all invited 24 teams were in action in front of a large and festive crowd.
The five-day tournament, dubbed “the East Coast Best versus the Rest”, pits the best teams from the East Coast corridor against the finest selection from Georgetown.
Among the other entities who’ve pledged support are: Banks DIH under its Guinness and Power Wine brands; Clarks footwear giant Chetsons; E-Networks Inc; KSM Investments; Yhip’s Bakery; Brass Aluminium & Cast Iron Foundry (BACIF); Ray’s Auto Sales; YK Investments; Trophy Stall; Express Shipping; Woodpecker Products; National Sports Commission; C Division of the Guyana Police Force; Jai Signs & Auto Designs; Gaming Authority and C & C Prestigious Styles.
