Guyana’s upcoming artiste, Kishana Ferguson, also called “Kady Kish” is set to release her newest single titled “Without You” in the new month.
The song was written by the songstress and Marc Amour, also known as “Ilaman”. It was recorded and mixed at DP Studios in Guyana.
The producer for the song was Darrell Pugsley out of DP Records. The song is set for a worldwide release on October 9 which coincides with its launch on popular radio stations in the US and will be available on top music streaming platforms.
It has a Reggaeton/Caribbean feel to the beat and a music video will also be ready for the grand release. In addition, the talented Guyanese artiste recently collaborated with Courtney Noel along with reggae singer/songrwiter on a single that will be released in a few weeks. Kishana “kady Kish” Ferguson is a Guyanese singer songwriter born on February 21, 1999. She first performed for an audience at her nursery school graduation. She continued throughout her school life dancing and singing at school events. In Fourth Form, she entered the school’s Mashramani competition held annually. The songstress placed first at the regional and national levels, impressing Remo Bowen; owner of the Fame Band who would later influence her singing career.
Five months after completing her Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate, Bowen contacted the singer and soon after she claimed her position as a vocalist in the band. “Kish” as she is fondly called, was introduced to music producer and CEO of DP Records, Darrell Pugsley whom she collaborated with to produce the song “Pressure Wine” – her very first recording and it was one she wrote. She made her solo career debut on February 21, 2017, at Stag Stage; coincidentally it was also her birthday.
Her performance created the kind of buzz every artiste hopes for. She left her audience satisfied but thirsty. After that performance, she was asked by the show’s promoter to perform the following night at the international version of the event where she created an even bigger buzz and went on to perform for other audiences and major events throughout Guyana.
“Kish” has released other songs including “How I Do It”, “Be Wise and Rise” and her most recent “Without You”. She is currently in the studio recording more music for her fans which she is anxious to release.
