Kendall’s Union Sports Club secures million-dollar sponsorship

Kendall’s Union Sports Club last Sunday secured the sponsorship of Shudeo Bachan (Amar) and his family. Bachan and his family have been supporting the club for the past four years, particularly its children’s Christmas party and back-to-school programme.
Following some discussions between the executives and Bachan, he agreed to sponsor the club and made a significant donation of over $1 million in cash and kind to the club and also to members of the community on April 11.
The donations received included cricket gear, white uniforms, floppy hats, caps; shirts for the youth teams; four wheelchairs; walking sticks; pressure kits; 12 shirts for the executives and over $170,000 in cash prizes.
