Kennard Memorial sets Emancipation horse meet for August 4

Despite the prevailing spate of inclement weather bombarding Guyana’s Coast, the 2019 horse-racing season has already kicked off in emphatic fashion, with the Crawford Memorial Turf Club & Sports Facility (CMTC&SF), in collaboration with the 4-Horseman Promotions entity, planning on staging its Emancipation meet on August 1st, 2019 at the Port Mourant Turf Club; while the Kennard Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) has planned to host its Emancipation Day Horse Race Meet on Sunday, August 4 at the Club’s facility at Bush Lot Farm, Corentyne, Berbice.
This is besides other entities which plan to host horse racing meets, like the Jumbo Jet Racing Committee, which is looking to move its Breeders’ Cup meet to another suitable date, and the Georgetown Turf Club, which is planning to stage its horse meet on a suitable date as well.
