The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Grand Final this Sunday (7 August) will be headlined with a half time and post-match concert from Trinidadian superstars Kes – a pop/soca group known for a unique blend of soulful vocals, calypso-inspired melodies, rock riffs and island beats.
Looking ahead to the Hero CPL Finals, CPL COO Pete Russell said: “The Hero CPL Finals are the culmination of the finest entertainment in the Caribbean, both on and off the field.
“Testament to CPL’s commitment to delivering outstanding entertainment off the field as well, I would like to thank our loyal sponsors Digicel for enabling us to secure the services of the outstanding Kes who will prove to be a big hit for our visitors to Warner Park. Digicel’s ‘Bring the Beat’ campaign has been a popular one and has captivated the public and enhanced the awareness of both CPL and cricket across the Caribbean.
“We are delighted to be here in St. Kitts & Nevis this week and we know that we will get great support from the locals as the four top teams battle it out to lift the coveted title.
“The quality of cricket from Jamaica Tallawahs, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St. Lucia Zouks and Trinbago Knight Riders has been of the highest quality so far, and I have no doubt that each team will bid to reach new levels for these crucial deciding games.
“We will have some of the best acts on display around the ground and the Party Stand will be the place to be. I would urge everyone to book your tickets early and come along and savour the biggest party in sport.”
Friday night’s semifinal will also feature a performance from Antiguan soca star Ricardo Drue.
Tickets for the party stand priced at just EC$35 are available now from the Warner Park Ticket Office and www.cplt20.com
