Key matches kick-start opening round

The 2018 Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)/Dave West Indian Imports U15 inter-county tournament bowls off today with two mouthwatering encounters.
The opening round of the round-robin competition will see home team Demerara taking on Essequibo at Lusignan Ground on the East Coast of Demerara and defending champions Berbice squaring off with the GCB’s President’s XI at the iconic Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC), Bourda.

All teams will be looking for the all-important opening round win which could give them momentum going forward in the tournament where they are required to play each other once before the top two team clash in the February 10 final.
Both matches will begin at 09:30h.
