KFC Goodwill International series kick starts today

Some of the best school football teams in the Caribbean will converge on two venues in Georgetown over the next two weeks as the fourth edition of the Petra-organised KFC International Goodwill Series gets underway.
Eight schools from Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Suriname will be competing for a US$2500 grand prize and the chance to call themselves the best of the best.
During a pre-tournament press briefing and ball distribution exercise at the title sponsor’s Vlissengen Road headquarters, Petra Secretary Jackie Boodie teased about what to expect at the tournament’s kick-off today.
“Just to let you know, the stage is set, all the ground preparation has been in place, we have all the teams ready and in high spirits. They’re anticipating this wonderful tournament that will bring an end to the Petra Organisation football season for 2023,” Boodie stated.
