Fifteen young ladies will be the centre of attraction on Sunday, April 1, at the Promenade Gardens as they compete in the Kids Fest pageant. Of the 15, seven will participate in the 4-6 age category; six in the 7-11 age category and two in the 12-15 age category.
The grand princess pageant is the main attraction for the Kids Fest 2018 organised by AOne Events. The delegates in each category will be competing in talent, theme wear (Easter) and formal wear. Each group will have an overall queen and runner-up.
Special awards will be given in each age group for best dress, best personality and most creative. The winners in each category will also receive trophies and medals. There will also be an award for the most photogenic girl.
The delegates will be judged on personality, performance, smile, confidence, dress, grooming, stages presence, modelling ability, overall presentation and spirit.
Apart from the pageant, there will be other attractions such as candyland, bouncy castles, magic shows, Disney characters, clowns and the signature activity and the talent show which aims to nurture character and build confidence in children.
