Kissoon’s Furniture Store, as part of its support to the Guyana Society for the Blind (GSB), on Wednesday made a contribution towards the development of the institution by equipping them with a new sofa suite and toiletry hampers.

The presentation was made by Christina Dhaneshar of the furniture store to some of the members of the organisation.
“We’re very happy to be able to make this donation to the blind institute. We did it because it’s something that we do every year. As I look around, I definitely see that they’re in need of some more furniture and we will try to assist in whatever way we can.”
Meanwhile, members of the institute explained that this gesture would provide some form of support to them.
“When they called to say that they were donating, we were very happy, and we very much appreciate it. Kissoon’s has been one of the longest outstanding Private Sector companies that have been supporting us for decades,” GSB President Cecil Morris said.
