Former Lusignan Golf Club President and veteran golf lover Hemraj Kissoon is delighted to sponsor a Mega Tournament today at the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC).
In addition to more than 50 years of continuous support for the LGC, Kissoon, who presided over the construction of the present golf Clubhouse is delighted about all the innovations proposed.

Further, he has already donated furniture to the tune of over $1,000,000 to enhance the clubhouse.
Club President Aleem Hussain, noted that this tournament is special in that Kissoon’s –Mega Furniture Store of Industrial Site, Ruimveldt, is also giving gift vouchers to the first to fourth Net Winners for the purchase of furniture of their choice.
Additionally, trophies will be at stake.
Dubbing today’s event as Kissoon’s million-dollar shoot-out, President Hussain considered this eighth tournament for the year to be also the biggest the club would have had so far.
Names of golfers touted to vie for top places this weekend include former Guyana Open champions Avinash Persaud, Mohanlall Dinanauth, Mike Mangal, and Papo Haniff as well as regular winners Richard Haniff, Parmanand Persaud, Patanjalee Persaud, Deanand Bissessar, Maurice Solomon and President Aleem Hussain. Guyana Open female champions Christine Sukhram, Shanella Webster and Joaan Deo are also likely contenders for top honours.
As is the norm, invitations are extended to the public to view the exciting tournament and at the same time enjoy the ambience of the Lusignan Golf Club.
