A Station Street, Kitty resident was on Wednesday remanded to prison by Magistrate Leron Daly when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts charged for raping a 13-year-old girl.
Odinga Greene, 42, was not required to plead to the indictable charge after it was read to him by Magistrate Daly.
The prosecution is contending that between November 1 and 31, 2016, he engaged in sexual activity with a child under the age of 16.
Magistrate Daly remanded Greene to prison. He is expected to make his next court appearance on November 21, 2018.
