The Guyana Police Force (GPF) on Friday issued a wanted bulletin for Keron Randy Boyer for questioning in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Benjamin Seaford, who was stabbed to death during an argument in Kitty, Georgetown.
Police stated that the 22-year-old wanted man is from Lot 65 Public Road, Kitty, Georgetown.
It was reported that on Monday last, Seaford was fatally stabbed at about 00:45h at Gordon Street, Kitty, by Boyer.
Police stated that the teen and the suspect were at the corner of Lamaha and Gordon Streets, when an argument broke out between them. During the argument, the suspect reportedly whipped out a knife from the left side of his pants waist and dealt Seaford several stabs about his body.
Reports are that after being stabbed, the teen ran westerly on Gordon Street and collapsed about 100 feet from the intersection and the suspect then made good his escape.
The Police and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) were summoned and the teen was transported to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
