A 54-year-old woman of Kuru Kururu, Soesdyke-Linden Highway, and her family are now traumatised after their home was burglarised on Wednesday evening.
The woman, Majorie Garraway, had secured her home at about 19:00h on the day in question and retired to bed along with her five children.
However, at about 01:00h, the woman was awakened by her son, who told her that the front door was open. The woman reportedly made several checks around the house during which she discovered that a 55-inch television was missing from the living room.
The woman is of the belief that the suspect(s) might have gained entrance into the house through the kitchen window. The matter was reported to the Police and investigations are ongoing.
