La Parfaite Harmonie home burglarised, $700,000 music system missing

The Police have launched an investigation into an alleged burglary committing on the home of a minibus driver at La Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara (WBD) on Wednesday.
The perpetrators escaped with an LG music system valued at $700,000, One LG television set valued at $35,000 and one gas cylinder.
The Police have said that the victim, who lives alone, had secured his premises at about 05:30h and had gone to work. At the time, the items now missing were intact. However, at about 21:15h, he returned home and discovered the bolt and padlock that secured his door broken, and the door open.
Immediately sensing that something was amiss, he went into the house and checked, and found the items missing. The Police were contacted, and an investigation has been launched.
