A landlord and her tenant were on Friday arraigned for assaulting each other. It is alleged that on January 25, 2018, Cheryl Fraser at Tucville, Georgetown, unlawfully and maliciously wounded Xua Zhang and Ging Li with intention to cause grievous bodily harm. The woman pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Additionally, Xua Zhang was charged for using threatening behaviour towards Cheryl Fraser on January 28 at Tucville. He also pleaded not guilty.
The prosecution had no objection to the defendant’s pre-trial libery and Fraser was released on $30,000 bail for each of the charges. Xua Zhang was granted $10,000 bail.
In court on Friday, Fraser pleaded with the court for an extended period to return to court since she has medical issues that need attention. The case will continue on March 1.
