Your Eyewitness recently read an article about the war in Gaza: “You must be living under a rock if you didn’t come across one of the thousands of videos and articles published recently about the Red Heifer. It seems like everyone is nervous about it. What scares people so much about the Red Heifer?” Is your Eyewitness living under a rock?? How dare they?? But it so happened he’d actually never gotten even a whiff of anything bovine in the war, and his interest was piqued! What the heck was going down in Gaza with the red heifer?!! Well, like with most of what’s happening in that benighted piece of real estate, it goes back to hoary stories thousands of years ago.
Seems that in the Book of Numbers, Chapter 19, God said to Moses: “Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke: And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face: And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the Tabernacle of the congregation seven times: And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn: And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.”
To cut a long story short, the ashes of the heifer would make those who touched it purified, so that they could enter into the sacred ground where God had appeared. And so, when the First and Second Temples were later built at Mount Moriah or Temple Mount in Jerusalem, unblemished heifers were killed, and the ashes were used as directed.
Of course, we know the two temples were destroyed – first by the Babylonians and then by the Romans, and later Muslims built the Dome of the Rock in the Temple compound, from where the Prophet ascended into heaven. Mosque Al Asqa was built in the compound.
Well, cut to the present, and your Eyewitness is now informed that hard-line Jews believe the Third Temple – where their Messiah will appear – must be built where Al Asqa now stands!! In preparation, they’ve secured 5 unblemished heifers and assembled Priests who are descendants of Eleazer so that the necessary sanctification is performed. The point of all of this for us, then, is that we’re informed that Hamas’ attack was the occasion for the present war, but not the cause.
The cause is to ensure Al Asqa is demolished – to build the Third Temple. No peace until then!!

Whereupon Mad Maduro’s attack dog VP Delcy Rodrigues screamed: “The false victim Guyana buys an ocean patrol vessel from a French company. Guyana, together with the US, its Western partners and its former colonial master, constitute a threat to the peace of our region. Venezuela will continue to monitor these actions by Guyana, and will persist on the path of international legality”!!
Your Eyewitness has been saying all along that “when blind man seh he gon pelt yuh, he done gat brick in he hand!!” Happens the Venezuelan Navy has 2 submarines; 1 frigate; 6 offshore patrol vessels; 6 gun boats; 19 patrol boats; 10 amphibious and service vessels; 4 transport aircraft and 4 helicopters!!
