Team Evolution Rider Raul Leal continued to one of the dominant forces in local cycling, as he raced to first place, carting off the spoils in the feature 35-lap event Malta Supreme 11-race programme on the Saturday at the inner circuit of the National Park.

Leal dusted the likes of Paul DeNobrega and Raphael Leung to secure his sixth win of the season in a time of hour, 19 minutes and 36 seconds; Mark Harris, Andre Green and Junior Niles rounded off the top six positions.

The other winnings in the day’s proceedings included: Andrew Hicks (Juveniles), Junior Niles (Veteran’s U-50), Raymond Newton (Veteran’s O-50), Nicholas Alphonso (Mountain Bike), Adelie Hodge (BMX Boys and Girls 12-14), Alex Leung (BMX Boys 6-9) and Sherwin Sampson (BMX 9-12 and 12-14).
