As investigations continue into the gruesome murder of 46-year-old Gregory Frank, who was found in a pool of blood in his Lot 686 Kuru Kururu, Linden-Soesdyke Highway home, the Police have confirmed that he was strangled to death.
A post-mortem performed on the body revealed that the man died as a result of asphyxiation due to compression injury to the neck compounded by blunt trauma to the head. The autopsy was performed by Dr Nehaul Singh on Friday at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

father, who occupied another house in the same yard.
The man reportedly saw the back door of his son’s house wide open, and after several calls went gone unanswered, he went inside his son’s home to check on him.
Confronted with the sight of his son’s motionless body and the home ransacked, the elder Frank immediately raised an alarm. Upon checking further, he realised that several valuable items belonging to his son had gone missing.
Checks also revealed that the dead man’s forehead was swollen, which suggested that he might have been struck to the head by his attackers.
The Police were summoned to the scene, and the body was removed to the Lyken Funeral Home. The Police have since processed the scene for fingerprints. The man was last seen alive on Tuesday last.
