Police on Friday nabbed a Tabatinga, Lethem, Region Nine (Upper Takatu-Upper Essequibo) man with just over seven kilograms of cannabis in his possession.
According to Police, at about 11:50h, acting on information received, ranks went to Hunt Oil Stretch, Central Rupununi, where they stopped a vehicle driven by the 34-year-old man. A search was conducted and the illegal substance was unearthed. He was arrested and is in Police custody pending his arraignment.
