LGC Boss optimistic of tournament set for today

“All are welcome” says Persaud

Lusignan Golf Club will kick off their third golf tournament today. The tournament is scheduled to commence at noon and is sponsored by S Jagmohan Hardware and Construction Services.
It will be played in the stable Ford format, meaning that rather than counting the total number of strokes taken, it would involve scoring points based on the number of strokes taken at each hole.

President of Lusignan Golf Club Patanjilee Persaud is extremely grateful as the club has done better than expected. It is their goal to attain one coorpaeate sponsor per month, however, their recent success has seen them rack up a whopping 3 sponsors in under one month.
In a interview with this publication when asked his view on hosting yet another tournament Patanjilee said, “We at Lusignan Golf Club would like to express our many thanks to S Jagmohan Hardware and Construction services, I no he (Suresh Jagmohan) left the offer to support this sport and we appreciate this. This business community has done so much even though we know they are under alot of stress in this covid period and we just want to express our thanks and appreciation.”
Persaud also went on to note that the club extends their invitation to one and all, including the members of S Jagmohan to come out and experience the cool, calm and relaxing atmosphere that golf brings to the table.
The LGC boss further went on to relay that he is also extending an invitation to the general public to come and see the tournament from the club’s balcony which will give an excellent overview of the ongoing tournament, owing to the fact that the club is always welcomed to have new members.
In closing Persaud said, “We are open for the public and the entire diaspora. Members of Exon Mobil and the expatriate community are all welcome as we expect this to be a grand tournament.”
