Speaking on behalf of the LGC, Vice President Brian Hackett said, “STP has been a partner with us for the last two years. They have come on board and joined the golf club in spreading the awareness of golf. We’re happy to be partner with them, of course, and we look forward to continue our fruitful relationship with them. This comes at a very good time in the golfing calendar for the golfers, as we prepare for the GTT Business Solutions Invitational Golf Tournament on October 28-29, 2023. This is where golfers from across the Caribbean, North America and other parts of the globe come together to compete for the prestigious title of the Best Golfer of the Year.”
The LGC Vice President also noted that the club is happy to have the STP Investment tournament, as players can come out and compete and sharpen their game for the tournament ahead.
“So, we are excited to have them on board, and more excited that they have come on board. Competition is going to be fierce this weekend. We expect a lot of players to come out to ensure that they can participate and improve their games,” Hackett shared.
All participants are advised to contact the club’s manager on the day of the tournament to collect their scorecards, pay their tournament fees, and proceed to their allocated tee boxes to begin play at 12:30pm. Once on their respective tee boxes, players must await the sounding of the horn or siren as indication to begin teeing off. Presentation of prizes will be held at the completion of the tournament at approximately 17:30 hrs.
