Lifeless body of La Grange woman found on bed

A female labourer was on Friday found dead lying face down on her bed in her La Grange, West Bank Demerara (WBD) home.
The dead woman has been identified as 33-year-old Nirmal Sukhai of Factory Dam, La Grange, WBD. Police stated that the now-dead woman lived alone in a flat, two-bedroom concrete house
However, her lifeless body was found by her mother at about 16:00h after she went to the house since attempts to contact the woman proved futile.
A report was immediately made at La Grange Police Station and a probe was launched. The body was escorted to the Ezekiel Funeral Home. Investigations are continuing.
